Concept cafes in Shinjuku & Kabukichō: the 2026 guide

Shinjuku's concept cafes live on the east side: a classic maid cafe near the station, then a deep bench of idol cafes and concept bars spreading through Kabukichō and toward Seibu-Shinjuku. This is Tokyo's most nocturnal scene — many shops open in the evening and run past midnight.

What to expect
