Why MaidLink puts safety first

MaidLink is a social network where concept-cafe (konkafe) cast are the stars. We think about both cast and fans being safe before we think about adding features.

No private DMs

Most problems happen in closed, private spaces. MaidLink does not offer private direct messaging — interactions stay in the open (comments and support messages). Posts that try to exchange contact details are detected and blocked automatically.

Meet at the café

Meeting fans happens at the public café where a cast works. We never broker private contact details or individual call-outs. This protects both legal compliance (Japan's entertainment-business law) and the cast's safety.

18+ and identity verification

The service is for ages 18 and over. On top of that, cast who receive support (tips) complete identity verification (KYC) through our payment partner, Stripe — we don't hold more ID documents than necessary.

Content filtering

User text — comments, story captions, profiles — is blocked automatically when it contains contact info or inappropriate content. Reporting and blocking tools are also built in.

Safety isn't something you bolt on later; it's something you build in from the start. That's the stance MaidLink stands by.

MaidLink is in open beta.
