1. Operator

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how personal information is handled in the "MaidLink" service (the "Service").

The Service is operated by Kurayami AI (website: kurayami.ai; the "Operator"), a sole proprietorship based in Mexico. Further details such as address are disclosed without undue delay upon request in accordance with applicable law. Contact: hello@maidlink.jp.

2. Information we collect

• Account: email address or an external-login identifier (e.g., LINE), display name, user ID (handle), and profile information you choose to provide (bio, area, style, avatar, etc.). • Usage: activity such as posts, comments, follows and support; access logs; cookies; device/browser information; and approximate location (only with your consent, when using map features). • Payments: transaction history for support (tips). Card details are collected and processed by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store card numbers.

3. Purposes of use

We use personal information to: provide the Service, verify identity and manage accounts; display profiles and posts and provide follow/support/ranking features; process support (tips) and tally earnings; respond to inquiries and send important notices; prevent misuse and enforce the Terms; analyze usage and improve the Service; and for purposes incidental to the above.

4. Provision to third parties

We do not provide personal data to third parties without prior consent, except as permitted by law (e.g., legal requirements, protection of life/body/property).

Note that profile, posts and schedule that cast set to public are, by the nature of the Service, visible to other users and the public. Do not register information you do not wish to make public.

5. Entrustment to service providers

We may entrust the handling of personal data to providers as needed (e.g., cloud/hosting (Supabase, Vercel), payments (Stripe), email (Resend), analytics (Google Analytics)), under appropriate supervision.

6. Cross-border transfers

Some providers are located outside Japan (mainly the US and EU). In accordance with Japan's APPI, we provide the required information regarding the destination countries and the protective measures taken before such handling. Details of each provider's safeguards are available on request.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4) to improve usability and analyze usage. Information collected is handled under each provider's policy. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.

8. Security measures

We take organizational, personnel, physical and technical safeguards (access control, encryption in transit, hashing of credentials, etc.) to prevent leakage, loss or damage of personal data.

9. Your rights

You may request notification of purpose, disclosure, correction/addition/deletion, suspension of use/erasure, and suspension of third-party provision of your retained personal data. Contact hello@maidlink.jp; we respond after identity verification, in accordance with law.

10. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes and as required by law, then erase or anonymize it without delay. On account-deletion request we delete data except where retention is legally required.

11. Age

The Service is intended for persons aged 18 or older. We do not collect personal information from anyone under 18.

12. Changes

We may revise this Policy in response to legal or service changes, and will announce material changes on the Service.
